Biography

Over the past 20 years, Mr. Kumar has held positions in various roles in the private and public sectors. He has led the design, implementation, and innovation of systems at an enterprise level supporting several locations with thousands of users. He has expert level of knowledge and understanding in system engineering, system administration, technical architecture and cyber solutions. His primary focus throughout his career has been system efficiency and automation. He has a comprehensive background in software engineering and system integration and has directed several high-priority mission efforts. Mr. Kumar has championed several data analytics and machine learning type of projects. He occasionally teaches Computer Science as an adjunct faculty member and continues to be an advocate for Agile and DevOps methodology. He is a true believer that more can be done by removing constraints, streamlining processes, and adding automation.
