Let’s dial it back to September 2 years ago, when we sought to eagerly grow, in the knowledge of marketing course, We set sail on a journey to become to become full fledged marketers, that change the status quo, and also know, how to turn stumbling blocks into stepping stones. Straight from the word go, we put both hands on the bulls horns, and wrestled it until the day we completed our milestones, unlike a matador with a cape to fight the bull. Under the wings of Contemporary University, or Contech for short, we were coached on how to score winning goals, in any marketing field. Unlike a game of tic tac toe, or ennie, minnie, minny, moe, which is simple, it wasn’t easy for some of us, from 45 to 15, we reduced in number, now behold the last of us, who didn’t turn aside from running our laps, we have finally graduated from the 2022 class, and as we are scaling up to the top, I have an advice for this butch, so please give me your attention and listen up, to these advice and quotes summed up in five. First and foremost, put God first in everything you do and watch everything that you do blossom as proof. You may or may not be born with a silver spoon, in your mouth, but trust that God plans are to do you good. As far as you have a pulse he has a plan, give or take, in every season and time, along the line, things may be shaky and quite not fine, but believe you me, trust that He’s got you in the palm of His hands. Though you cannot change the seasons of life, but because you know what tomorrow holds, regardless of what may unfold, make some good juice out of lime and while you are at it, give a dance in advance to what will eventually pass, and also to the best that is yet to come. Secondly, remember that by always putting your limits to a test, you will forever deliver nothing but the best, first comes the pain then the stress, but consistent persistence will go ahead, to prepare the way and finally take you there, some seasons you will dread, others you will be tempted to back away from it due to fear, but with every last breath, master courage and knockout fear, whenever it rears its ugly head. With your head held up high and puffed out chest, walk with the confidence the you will pass the seasons test, sometimes you may fall, but rise up again and move on, with all the lessons learned. Stick to the goal, and always have a plan, that will always lead to that winning touchdown. Thirdly always see the possibilities in the impossibilities, for the only underlying factor that can either turn it possible or impossible is I, in other words, it is an issue of you. The fact that something is challenging doesn’t mean it will forever remain an obstacle. Always look through the optimistic spectacle, and further more, ignore what the naysayers say. Do not fret nor give in to their criticisms so to speak, other than wasting time in hurts, spend your time on your goal to becoming the best. Always remember, people say its impossible, now that is a deceit, wrinse repeat till it’s all complete, and when complete inspire the world with your receipt, forever entreat and encourage them with your feats. Fourthly, avoid excuses solely based of what if reasoning. You cannot waste time on what ifs instead of believing without ceasing. If you worry about a situation in a negative what if sense, like, “what if it doesn’t happen?”, “what if it ends in a sad caption?”, “what if I end up with nothing?”,…well, I got a question for you, what if it does happen?, or better yet happens so fast and yet much better than you ever thought or imagined…but because you gave yourself a reason or more to back down, instead of taking proactive action, would you really be able to forgive yourself for such misconception?,…you may have an excuse such as not being able to get a sneak peek into the deep future, but guess what?, none of us can even predict what will happen 5 seconds into the mysterious future, so at the very end of the day, you have no excuse, am just saying…yes the unknown maybe scary, but the had I known’s lessons at the end are even scarier because at the very end of the day, it is not the missed chance that hurts, but the fact that you got in your own way that makes it painful because you were scared and super tense. So, don’t fret, take that shot, even if it doesn’t happen, at least you will walk away with experience knowing very well that you tried in the very end. Lastly, know that even though all of us are marketers, some of us will decide to turn the notch up further by becoming marketing managers, social media managers, digital strategists, SEO specialists, etc…in as much as we will attain these titles and even decide to advance to higher titles, always remember that the title does not make the person, but rather the person makes the title, what I mean by this is that always bear the title at the back of your mind and focus much more on the work and purpose for which you earned that title. What is the point of having a title if you just cannot live up to it? Always always remember that you are a brand, not just for you, but for the benefit and establishment of other brands in other vessels ,what you do speaks volumes about who you are as it is a reflection of your values. So that’s the little advice I have to offer to this distinguished congregants, as we set off on both feet, to inspire the world at its peak, live, laugh, love, and forever let your words be seasoned with salt in speech and retain and always keep, the lessons from Contech university, live long and prosper as you take the world by storm, be that pioneer that set the torch ablaze, and lit up the path way for the world to follow and emulate, God bless you. To Andy and Solution, thanks for being a brother, to Peace, thanks for being a sister, I hope this beautiful journey of friendship will continue even after graduation.
