Serge Shuster

Biography

Dr. Serge Shuster is a multifaceted professional whose career extends over three decades in both academia and industry, specializing in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Quantum Technologies. Holding three Master’s degrees in Math and Applied Math/Cybernetics, Economics, and Philosophy, he is also a Ph.D. candidate (ABD) in Economics. Serge has taught a wide range of subjects, from Mathematics and Statistics to Economics and Finance, at several New York colleges, including Hunter and Baruch, as well as institutions in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Notably, he has been recognized for his contributions to Math Olympiads by top academicians. As an entrepreneur, he has been part of the founding teams of two AI and Machine Learning startups, as well as a Quantum Computing startup currently listed on the Nasdaq. In the corporate sphere, Mr. Shuster has engineered AI and Machine Learning systems for an impressive roster of clients, including Citi Group, CIBC, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo, Bloomberg, Thompson-Reuters, J.P. Morgan, Guggenheim Partners, and Greenwich Capital Markets.
